zmei同zar是同一个公司出的数据恢复软件，用于恢复邮件。

我还以为是zmail，仔细一看是zmeil，没有明白名字的来历。
最新版本为zmeil v2.1

Zmeil can store the recovered messages in one of the following formats:
Separate message files (.eml).
Each .eml file contains one message. Files are named after the subject of the recovered message, if available. Otherwise the timestamp of the message, or successive integral numbers will be used as a file name. A conflict between two messages having the same subject is resolved in the similar fashion by adding a timestamp and then a sequence number.
It is recommended to impose the limit on a number of files stored per folder. Typical email database contains thousands of messages. Placing such a large number of files into the same folder is impractical, so Zmeil creates a separate folder once certain number of messages is reached if Limit number of files per directory is enabled.

UNIX mailbox files.
One UNIX mailbox file is created for each source file. The resulting file contains multiple messages in the appropriate format. This file can be imported into the email client, provided that your email client supports such an import operation. For more details on import, please refer to your email client documentation. Export to Outlook.
If Microsoft Outlook is installed on your system, Zmeil can export messages into it. Zmeil creates a new folder ("Recovered messages") in the "Personal folders". The recovered email messages are placed in there. Export to Outlook only works with an "Outlook (.pst)" source.
