S.M.A.R.T. vision utility is intended for automatic diagnostics of status of the modern Hard Disk Drive (HDD, hard disk, drive) with PATA (ATA-3 - ATA-7) and SATA interface, supporting S.M.A.R.T. self-monitoring technology (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology) and working in РС-compatible computers under Windows (95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP).

支持S.M.A.R.T技术的硬盘可以通过硬盘上的监测指令和主机上的监测软件对磁头、盘片、马达、电路的运行情况、历史记录及预设的安全值进行分析、比较。当出现安全值范围以外的情况时，就会自动向用户发出警告。
大概意思是: S.M.A.R.T可视化程序,是向带有PATA或SATA接口的现代硬盘驱动器提供自我诊断状态,它支持SMART技术,并工作在WINDOWS环境下.
