PEN DRIVE RECOVERY

Can u help me to recover data from a pen drive which is not detected in windows. I opened the drive and found all components (except for main chip) are OK. Can u advice me any device or software for recovery.

do you mean the usb flash disk , thats a hard process

I don't think these programs will help if the drive isn't recognized.

What someone needs to do is come out with a [wiki]PC3000[/wiki]-like program for pen drives. Something that has a database of all the common controller chips, and how they arrange data. Then, you could just remove the flash chips, put in a reader, and have the special software decode it, take into account bad blocks, wear leveling, etc...

If the main chip is burnt or at least malfuction, you concern will be replace the chip or unsolder the mem chip off and get the data from some mem reader.
