The product engineer will actively engage with a team of 4-5 hard drive electrical or mechanical engineers to diagnose hard disk drive (hdd) failure mechanisms and develop engineering solutions to protect drive quality, reliability, and factory yield. product engineers will work closely with other engineering teams locally, at other manufacturing sites, and at the overseas product design center.

The successful product engineer will proactively identify issues and communicate with the engineering and factory management as well as counterparts at other production sites and in overseas design centers. he/she will participate in the team’s success by enthusiastically sharing learning and complimenting the technical strengths of his/her teammates.

Key Responsibilities

Actively support yield and quality improvement through hands-on failure analysis, data analysis, and solution development.  
Interacts closely with counterparts in other engineering teams to diagnose issues and develop test and engineering solutions.
Engage with counterparts at other manufacturing sites and the design center to assure manufacturability and smooth launch of new products.

Qualifications

1.A minimum of 1-2 years working experience in engineering test, fa, and solutions development. experience in hard disk drive engineering is highly desirable
2.Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in electronics/electrical engineering mechanical engineering.  
3.A positive attitude for work and willingness to accept challenges
4.Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
5.Effective communication skills in english
6.excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skill
7.Flexibility for occasional extended travel abroad
