Repair Station
Overview
Repair Station is data recovery software which allows you:
to diagnose and repair system area problems of hard disk drives,
to remove passwords from drives locked with an ATA-password (security level HIGH or MAXIMUM).
About 70% of hard disk drive failures are caused by system area damage. In such cases the access to the drive becomes impossible. Sometimes BIOS detects the drive incorrectly or doesn't recognize it at all.
For example, FUJITSU MPG drives can lose their parameters such as device name and size. There is no access to the user's data. The same happens with Western Digital and other drives. These are well-known problems; they are caused by system area damage and can be fixed with Repair Station.
Some modern computers and all laptops have the ability to set an ATA password on the HDD (in other words, to lock the hard disk drive) so user cannot access the drive until the correct password is entered. The password is stored inside the drive in the system area and sometimes in drive's EEPROM, not in motherboard (we do not mean “BIOS password” which just locks the computer). When user forgets the password, drive does not work on any computer and changing the electronic board does not help.
In both cases, system area damage or unknown password, Repair Station allows you to recover the drive by repairing its system area or by removing ATA passwords. The repair process is done automatically and takes a few minutes.
Repair Station never touches the defect lists or other critical parts of the System Area, so using Repair Station is 100% safe for your data. |
