ROYL出現"VSCE PERM OVL NOT LOADED"

WD ROYL一通電沒多久電機停,但就緒
進3000後出現

RAM:
Zone allocation table................... : HDDs RAM reading error Techno CMD sending error Device Error Detected: "VSCE PERM OVL NOT LOADED".

請問是板壞還是頭壞還是FW壞>??

PERM OVL 其实是Permanent Overlay，即永久固定OVERLAY。此时可以确定你的盘固件区是读不出或者固件损坏的。在WD盘的处理过程中，实际上如果你使用了固件区清零（Zero all reserved cylinders）后，第一件要做的事情，就是加载PERM OVL进入缓冲，并且只进了缓冲，目的是为了进一步加载FW。当一个盘没有固件的时候，我们要初始化它的第一步，就是从本地目录或者外部存储器例如软驱去加载一个permovl.img以达到初始化的目的。default directory or A: drive，load the permanent overlay to memory。对于这种盘，在UDMA中，是以LDR的方式引导。你可以多查看一些资料去领悟WD。祝好运。

也就是說需要找可以相容的LDR來LOAD
關於這方面有無可依尋的條件
例如ROM,FW的編號,或者是電路板號之類
有TRY過LOAD一些看來相容的LDR
但因壞盤此時電機已停
UDMA顯示DRIVER IS NOT READY
請你幫忙

也有試過熱交換
但還是無法讀到FW

用英文回答你，容易理解一点。
May be the ROM SA is dead ,so it cause the spin stops.
please try to use TREX like this:
get into the NATIVE MODE
then use the FLASHW command to reflash the ROM using the ok file "flash.bin"
remember that the rom of ROY is 192KB,OFFSET IS 0H.
IF trex can not find the disk and can't control it,you could try to use UDMA to do the job of "hotswap" again,when it's ready, then use the UDMA to reflash the ROM to make sure the rom sa is ok again.
The two tools are the most powerful to WD.I'M sure you can make it.
