Strange IBM Desktar problem

IBM Deskstar HDS722580VLAT20 , not detected corrected in PC3000 (HDD ID has not been read), cannot identify hdd family so i select VLAT in Utility Start menu.

Oh BTW guys, can i save the SA Main RSVD module and write to RSVD in FACTORIAL mode? Since in SA Main the RSVD is ok.

might be the head, sometimes ibm drive does not produce clicking but head damaged.

I think your RSVD are ok on factorial and main. Try Drive ID refresh.

The only think i can think of is the Head is just about to go.
